Welcome to A Lura dos Livros.   I opened my doors over a year ago with a stock of more than 10,000 books, new and used, in several languages.  Having moved here from the America the majority of my inventory is English language books, but I also have a fair selection of books in Portuguese, German, French, and a smattering of Nordic language books as well.  I have a very nice selection of children's books in English, and have even provided a space with playthings for little ones to occupy themselves while their parents browse the shelves at their leisure. 
I have comfortable chairs, a small garden out back and even a coffee counter where you can buy a coffee or tea to sip while you browse.   A Lura dos Livros is a good place to meet people, both long term residents of Portugal and travellers of all nationalities.
